Scholarship

The NAIFA Georgia Board of Directors created the Scholarship to provide a scholarship to a High School Senior who demonstrates exceptional academic performance and financial need. 
 The Image Builders Foundation was created to carry forward the ideals and interests of NAIFA Georgia by establishing a fund that exists solely to complement NAIFA Georgia in advancing the aims and objectives of its members. The fund was established to honor a past president, Joseph P. Crawford, who passed away in 1984. Joey exemplified the true meaning of dedication to this organization. In August 2021, the Scholarship was renamed The Joseph P. Crawford and Patty Beal Brown Memorial Scholarship to honor Joey Crawford and Patty Brown. Patty worked vigorously for the Association for many years and was the first female to hold the position of president of NAIFA Georgia. Patty passed away in 2021.

The following are the eligibility requirements for qualifying an applicant for the Scholarship:

• Applicant must be a resident of the State of Georgia.
• Applicant must be a graduating 2024 Georgia High School Senior.
• Applicant must be accepted by an accredited College or University.
• The grade Point Average must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• The recipient will be chosen by the Scholarship Committee, Confirmed by the Board of Directors.
• The scholarship amount is determined by the Committee annually and can be up to $5,000.00.
• Application Package must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
